The Campus
Sewanee occupies 13,000 acres atop the Cumberland Plateau in Tennessee, making it one of the largest campuses in the world by acreage. Collegiate Gothic sandstone buildings with slate roofs cluster around All Saints' Chapel, modeled on English cathedral architecture. The Domain, as students call it, includes caves, bluffs, forests, and the Perimeter Trail circling the plateau's edge.
